Fish Fingers / Fish Nuggets

Fish is very nutritious and is a good source lean protein. It has a very high protein content but does not have high fat like chicken or mutton .but the only problem which many have with fish is the bones in the fish and the skin fish also has a delicate taste but its receptive to other flavorings.so today we are going to get rid of all the drawbacks and make amazing finger fish or fish nuggets which are way tastier and healthier than chicken nuggets.




Serving size     : 5 (15 pieces)

Cooking Time : 20 mins

INGREDIENTS                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       
4 fish fillets
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chili powder
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp coriander powder
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
½  lemon (juice)
1 egg
1 tbsp of all purpose flour
Salt
1 tsp pepper powder.
bread crumbs
oil for frying


Cooking Method



Step 1) Cut the fish fillets into finger size pieces (I have taken Tilapia fish) any fish without bone will work good (ex. Basa fish)


Step 2) To season add the masalas Pinch of turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder , ½ tsp cumin powder , ½ tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste , ½  lemon (juice) , 1 egg, 1 tbsp of all purpose flour , Salt, pepper powder and mix well


Step 3) coat the fish pieces with bread crumbs (i have used seasoned bread crumbs to add extra flavor) gently press it with your hands to hold the bread crumbs well


Step 4) Fry the coated fish pieces in oil until golden brown on all sides .Oil should be in a medium heat to prevent burning the bread crumbs to get best finger fish.



Our delicious fish finger / fish nuggets / finger Fish is ready .Enjoy this delicious and easy fish fingers with some mayonnaise and ketchup...Happy Cooking !!!
