Kajada is a famous Indian bakery / Tea shop cake recipe made with few ingredients. This recipe is my childhood favorite recipe which is often served with tea in the evenings. Lets see how to make this vettu cake / Kajada recipe.

Serving Size:   7 pc
Prep Time   :   5 min
Cook Time  :   40 min

Quantity Ingredients for making Kajada recipe
1 cupMaida (125 g)
2 tbsp Rava
1 tbsp rice flour
pinch of baking soda
pinch of Salt
1/2 cup Sugar (100 g)
3 Cardamom
1 Egg
2 tbsp Milk
1 tspGhee
1/4 cup Oil for frying

Cooking Method

Step 1) Into a Blender add sugar, cardamom and grind it to a fine powder. Then add 1 egg and grind it again to form a smooth batter.

Step 2) Now in a bowl add Maida, rava, rice flour, baking soda, salt, ghee, egg sugar mixture from step 1, milk and mix well. The batter will be slightly sticky. Keep it aside for minimum 15 -20 min. We get approximately 6-7 kajada.

Step 3) Heat some oil in a pan and apply some ghee in your hands and make small balls out of the batter and drop one ball at a time and cook on low to medium heat. It takes approximately 5 minutes to get cooked completely.

Step 4) Make sure they are cooked thoroughly, otherwise the batter will be raw at the center.

That's it our delicious Muttaikose or vettu cake is ready to be enjoyed. Happy Cooking and happy festive season!!!

  4. Hello friends, interesting topic, but I want to ask if it is possible to play online games on the road without Wi-Fi, what can you advise?

  5. Congratulations! I’ve actually tried playing some online games on the go without Wi-Fi, and while it really depends on the app, some work surprisingly well with just mobile data. For example, I use https://apk-melbeten.com to download the official Melbet app directly to my phone — it’s a solid option for anyone into mobile betting and casino games. What I like is that the site gives clear steps on how to install the app, even if you’re on Android and need to bypass the Play Store. The app runs smoothly, even when I’m traveling, and supports multiple languages. It’s perfect for betting or spinning the slots while commuting or waiting in line. Worth checking out if you're looking for a flexible mobile experience.
