Egg Podimas

Egg podimas / Muttai poriyal is a simple yet delicious recipe which goes excellent with rice, dosa, and variety rice. This recipe is quick and very easy to make, all we need is few basic ingredients which is always available at our kitchen. Lets get started.

Quantity Ingredients for making Egg poriyal recipe
2 tbspOil
1/8 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
2 green chilies
1 spring Curry leaves
Onion
1 Tomato
pinch of turmeric powder
1/4 tsp Garam masala
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tspChili powder
required Salt
1 tbsp Coriander leaves
4 Eggs

Cooking Method


Step 1) Heat a pan and add 2 tbsp oil, then add mustard seeds , cumin seeds, green chilies, curry leaves and give it a stir.

Step 2) Then add finely chopped onions and saute for 2 minutes, then add the masalas - turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, pepper and salt. Then add in chopped tomato and cook for few seconds.

Step 3) Now make a well and add a tsp of oil and add the eggs, some salt and pepper give it a minute for the egg to set and then mix well. Finally garnish with coriander leaves and turn off the heat.
