Mixed vegetable fry

Vegetable Fry is a different recipe loaded with veggies and seasonings. This recipe is an excellent companion for Rice and variety rice.Vegetables adds all nutrients and Vitamin for our daily diet so it is tasty as well as healthy.You can add any vegetables of your choice.

Quantity Ingredients for making Mixed vegetable fry recipe
2 tbsp Oil
1/4 cup Mustard seeds
1 chopped Onion
1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste

Curry leaves
1Tomato
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala 
2 tsp Chili powder
1Carrot
1 cup Cauliflower
5-6 Green beans
1/2 cupGreen peas
1 Potato

Cooking Method


Step 1) Heat oil in a pan and temper with mustard seeds, then add chopped onion , ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and cook until onions are browned.

Step 2) Then add tomato and the masalas - turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala,cumin powder. 

Step 3) Add the veggies - Carrot, beans, potato, cauliflower,peas , required water some salt and cook until the veggies are nicely roasted.

Our delicious mixed vegetable kootu is all ready to be enjoyed with rice or chapathi. Spread the JOY OF COOKING !!!
