1/4 tspTurmeric powder
1 tbsp Chili powder

Salt and pepper

Chopped Coriander leaves

For Coating
1 cup Bread Crumbs
1/2 cup Maida / All purpose flour
Water

Oil for frying

Cooking Method

Step 1) Veg patty:
Heat oil in a pan and saute the chopped onions for a minute, once the onions turns translucent add the masalas - Green chilies, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, garam masala and chili powder. Mix well and then add finely chopped vegetables - Carrot, beans and green peas. (add water if required and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 2) Boil and mash 3 potatoes and add it to the pan and mix well with the vegetables. Then with a masher or with the tumbler mash them well. . Finally add required salt, pepper and coriander leaves and mix well.

Step 3) Veg Patties:
Take a small portion of the mixture and make it into a thick patty. This recipe makes 6 to 7 patties.
Now to coat the patties we will need bread crumbs, and in a separate bowl mix all purpose flour  with water and form a semi thick batter.
Take a patty ,dip it in the maida mixture and the roll it into the bread crumbs. Shake off any excess crumbs. Similarly do it with the rest of the patties.

Step 5) Frying the patties:
After coating the patties in bread crumbs fry them on medium heat until golden brown on both the sides (flip them halfway) .We can either deep fry or shallow fry the patties.

We can also use the same patties to make vegetable burger which is my all time favorite. Please do try this recipe and home and share it with your friends and family.
