|1/4 cup||Rice (I have used Basmati Rice)|
|1 liter||Milk (4 cups approximately)|
Step 3) Adding Sugar :
Once the milk has reduced and rice is fully done add sugar, you can adjust according to your sweet preference.Also add in the powdered nuts, Raising and mix well.
Step 4) Flavoring:
Finally add crushed cardamom pods and few strands of saffron to get nice flavor and color. Mix it well and let it cook for few more minutes.
That's it our Rice Pudding / Rice Kheer is nice and ready.You can garnish it with rose petals or some nuts on the top.

- 1/4 cup Rice
- 1 liter Milk
- 5-6 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cashews
- 1 tbsp Almonds
- 1 tbsp Pistachios
- 1 tbsp Raisins
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- few Saffron
- 4-5 Cardamom powder
- Bring milk to boil
- add soaked rice and cook
- meanwhile powder the nuts
- once the rice is fully done add the sugar, powdered nuts, raisins
- Finally add saffron and cardamom
- Our Rice Pudding / Rice Kheer is ready to be served.
