| 1/4 tsp | mustard seeds |
| 1/2 tsp | Cumin seeds |
| 1/2 tsp | fennel seeds |
| 1,1,2,2 | Bay leaf, cinnamon stick, Cardamom, cloves |
| 2 | Garlic |
| 1 inch | Ginger |
| 2 | dried red chilies |
| 1 spring | Curry leaves |
| 1 | Onion |
| 3 | potatoes |
| 1/8 tsp | Turmeric |
| 1 tsp | Garam masala |
| 1 tsp | Chili powder |
| 2 cup | Cooked rice |
| required | Salt |
| Coriander leaves |
Cooking Method |
Step 1) Heat oil in a pan and temper with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fennel,cinnamon,cardamom, bay leaf, cloves, ginger garlic paste, dried red chilies,curry leaves and mix well.
Step 2) Then add in chopped onion and cook for a minute. Add chopped potatoes, required salt amd cook until the potatoes are fully cooked.
Step 3) Then add the masalas - turmeric, chili powder, garam masala powder and mix well and cook for a couple of minutes. Then add cooked rice, coriander leaves and mix well.
