| 1/2 cup | Jaggery |
| 2 cup | Water |
| 1/2 tsp | Cardamom powder |
| 1/2 tsp | dry ginger powder |
| pinch of | Salt |
| pinch of | edible Camphor(optional) |
| 1 strand | Tamarind |
| 1/2 | Lemon |
| For Buttermilk | |
| 2 cup | thick Curd |
| 3 cup | Water |
| 2 | green chilies |
| 1 inch | ginger |
| 1 tsp | Cumin seeds |
| 1 spring | Curry leaves |
| For Tempering | |
| 1 tsp | Oil |
| 1 string | Curry leaves |
| pinch of | Asafoetida |
Cooking Method |
Step 1) Into a mixing bowl add jaggery, water, cardamom powder,dry ginger powder,edible camphor,tamarind extract, pinch of salt, lemon juice and mix well.Pass it through a sieve and store it.
Step 2) Into a mixing bowl add thick curd and beat it nicely, then add water, crushed ginger, crushed cumin seeds, chopped green chilies, chopped curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves, required salt and mix well. Heat a pan and add oil, temper with mustard seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida and add it to the buttermilk.
