Serving size    : 8-10 pc

Rest Time       : 2 hrs

Cook Time      : 20 minutes

Quantity Ingredients for Cholae Bhature ecipe

2 cup  Maida (250 g)
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp Rava
2 tbsp Oil
4 tbsp thick curd / Yogurt

required Water

Cooking Method

Step 1)
Into a mixing bowl add maida, salt , sugar, rava, oil, curd, baking soda and mix well.

Step 2)
Gradually add water and mix well to form a soft dough, it might be sticky at first but after kneading it doesn't stick to your hands. Dough should be very soft and should have more moisture than taht of chapthi dough.Cover the dough with a wet cloth and let it rest for 1 -2 hour.

Step 3)
Now after 2 hours divide the dough into 8 to 10 portions and start rolling, Do not roll it too thin, it should be slightly thicker than chapathi or poori.

Step 4)
Use a wide pan and heat up sufficient oil, oil should he hot. Fry the pooris in hot oil until they are ballooned and golden on the outside.

Enjoy the delicious Bhaturae with some channa masala. Please do try this recipe at home and share your feedback. Happy Cooking !!!
