This is a perfect breakfast recipe on a busy day which is healthy too. So lets see hoe to make this simple and easy Rava Idly.

|Quantity||Ingredients for Rava Idli|
|1 Cup||Rava / Sooji /Semolina (coarse)|
|1/4 tsp||Mustard seeds|
|1 tsp||Urad Dal|
|1 tsp||Chana Dal|
|1 tsp||Chopped Ginger|
|2||Copped Green Chilies|
|Chopped Curry leaves|
|1/2 cup||thick Curd / Yogurt|
|3/4 cup||Water or as required|
|1 pinch||baking soda|
|Salt to Taste|
Step 1) Tempering:
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, once the seeps pops our add urad dal and chana dal. Then add finely chopped ginger, green chilies and chopped curry leaves, give it a stir.
Step 2) Add grated carrot to it and saute it for 2 minutes. Then add onion and mix well. Finally add rava and roast it for couple of more minutes. Turn off the heat and transfer it to a bowl.
Step 5) Grease the idli plates with some oil and pour a ladle full of rava idli batter and steam for 8 -10 minutes (place the idli plate into idli cooker only after the water starts to steams )
That's it our delicious easy and simple rava idli is ready to served with coconut chutney, Tiffen sambar and with a cup of hot coffee.
