1 cupfinely chopped Cabbage
1 cupgrated Carrot
1/2 cupBell pepper / Capsicum
1/2 tsp Chili sauce
1/2 tspSoy sauce
2 tbspMaida
2 tbspCorn flour or corn starch

Salt and Pepper

Oil for frying
For Veg Manchurian Gravy
2 tbsp Oil
1 tbsp Finely chopped Ginger
1 tbspFinely chopped Garlic
Onion
1Bell pepper + some large chunks
1 tbspChili sauce
1 tbspTomato Ketchup
1 tbspSoy Sauce
1 tbspCorn starch + 1 cup water for gravy

Salt & Pepper

Spring Onions for garnishing

Cooking Method

Step 1) In a mixing bowl add Cabbage, carrot, bell pepper, chili sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper. Mix once and then add maida, corn starch and mix well to combine everything together. We don't need to add any water at this point because the vegetables will release lot of its own moisture. You you still find that your mixture is dry then sprinkle a few drops of water and then mix. (do not add too much of water) .I didn't add any water.

Step 2) Take a portion of the veg mix and make it into medium sized balls.

Step 3) Fry the balls over medium heat. Once they develop nice golden brown color on all the sides take it off from the heat and keep it aside. (try with one ball first, it it separates add some maida to it and then mix)

Step 4) Heat oil and add minced ginger, Garlic and saute it for a minute. Then add chopped onions, bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes. Then add the sauces - chili sauce, Soy sauce and tomato Ketchup. Also add required salt and some pepper.

Step 5) Add the fried veg balls and mix it well with the gravy. Finally garnish with spring onions and turn off the heat.
