Paal Kozhuttai is a traditional recipe of Tamil Nadu made with rice flour (Idiyappam flour) and Coconut milk. This Kozhuttai recipe has a rich sweet creamy taste which lasts in the taste buds for several hours. There are lot of variations we can make with is kollukattai. We can add sugar or Jaggery according to your preference(I love to add sugar). Some people like to steam the kollukattai balls and then add it to the recipe but I love to add them directly so that the the balls remains soft and tender, steaming prevents the balls from soaking up the coconut milk efficiently.
Adding grated coconut to the flour enhances the taste of the paal kolulkattai. This is a simple and easy recipe which is loved by all especially among children.
