Kadalai Mittai is a favorite recipe enjoyed by kids and all groups of age, This is a super easy recipe made with just 2 ingredients - peanut and jaggery. This petti kadai sweet is a treat for all 90's kids.

Step 2) Into a pan add powdered jaggery, water and let it melt, pass it through a filter to collect any dirt. Transfer it to the pan again and add ghee and cook until the syrup thickens.To check the consistency pour a little syrup to a bowl of water, the syrup should break and should be brittle.
Step 3) Once you get the right consistency add the broken peanuts, some cardamom powder and mix well. Immediately transfer it to a greased pan and cut into desired shapes.
That's it our delicious Peanut chikki is ready to be enjoyed .

| 1 cup | raw peanut (150 g) |
| 1 cup | Jaggery (150 g) |
| 1 tbsp | Ghee |
| pinch | cardamom powder |
| 1/4 cup | Water |
Cooking Method |
Step 1) Dry roast peanut until crisp, then rub it to remove the skin of the peanuts.Break into 2 and set it aside.
Step 3) Once you get the right consistency add the broken peanuts, some cardamom powder and mix well. Immediately transfer it to a greased pan and cut into desired shapes.
