Pav Bhaji is a famous north Indian recipe which is enjoyed along with buttered Buns. This recipe also goes excellent with Roti and Chapathi. This Pav Bhaaji is easy to make and tastes delicious. Added veggies adds all nutrients and Vitamin for our daily diet so it is tasty as well as healthy. You can add any vegetables of your choice. You can add beetroot or beetroot juice at the end to get bright red color. Lets see how to make this recipe.

Veggies | 2 Carrots, 10 Beans, 1/2 cup Peas, 1/4 Cauliflower , 2 Potatoes |
3 Tbsp | Butter |
1/2 tsp | Cumin Seeds |
1 | Onion |
1 tbsp | Ginger Garlic Paste |
1/2 tsp | Turmeric powder |
1/2 tsp | Cumin seeds |
1 tsp | Coriander powder |
1 tsp | Garam Masala powder |
1 tbsp | Chili powder |
3 | Tomatoes |
1 | Capsicum |
Salt to Taste | |
Coriander leaves for Garnishing | |
Juice of 1/2 Lemon | |
Cooking Method |
Step 1) Cook the veggies with some water in a pan / Cooker or microwave for 12 minutes. I have used fresh peas, If you are using dry peas then soak the peas overnight and then add along with the vegetables. Once the vegetables are cooked nicely mash them well.
Step 2) Heat a pan and melt butter, then add cumin seeds and chopped onion. Once the onion is cooked add the masalas - Ginger Garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, Garam masala, cumin powder and Chili powder (1 tbsp will be less spicy,you can adjust according to your spice preference).
Note: You can add beetroot or beetroot juice at the end to get bright red color.
Our Delicious Pav Bhaji Recipe is ready to be enjoyed with toasted Bun . Sprinkle some onion and coriander leaves on the top and place a small piece of butter before serving. Happy Cooking!!!
