Masala Diamond Cuts recipe

Masala diamond cuts is a spicy flavorful snack recipe made with freshly ground masala and then deep fried . This is a simple go to tea time snack recipe which is always a hit among kids and adults.Lets see how to make this delicious crispy masala diamond cuts. 

Serves          : 6
Prep Time   : 20 min
Cook Time  : 10 min

Quantity Ingredients for making diamond cuts recipe
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 tsp Pepper
2 cup Maida (250g)
2 tbsp Rava
1 tsp Sesame seeds
Chili powder
pinch of Asafoetida
few Curry leaves
1 tbsp Ghee
1 tsp Salt
required  Water
Oil for frying

Cooking Method

Step 1) Into a mixer jar add garlic,cumin, pepper and grind it well.

Step 2) Into a mixing bowl add maida,rava, ghee, asafoetida, chili powder, chopped curry leaves,  Sesame seeds, ground masala from step 1, required salt and mix well. Then gradually add water and knead it to a slightly stiff dough. Let it rest for 15 min.

Step 3) Now divide the dough int 10 portions and roll it very thin.Similarly do it will add the dough balls. 

Step 4) Take a rolled sheet and then cut into diamond shapes and fry it in hot oil. Oil should be hot so that it floats on the surface as soon as we add it t oil. Once it is nice and crispy take it off from the oil.
