Crispy Corn recipe

Crispy Corn is a famous recipe of Barbequ Nation made with corn kernels, coated with a thin batter  and then deep fried . Added masala coats the corn kernels well and add nice flavor and spice to the recipe.

Serves          : 4
Prep Time   : 10 min
Cook Time  : 15 min

Quantity Ingredients for making Crispy Corn
2 cupCorn Kernels
1 tbsp Rice flour
4-6 tbsp Corn flour
required Salt
required Pepper

Oil for frying

For Masala
1 tsp Chili powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Chat masala
required Salt and Pepper
1 tsp   Lemon juice
For Garnishing
some  chopped Onion
some   chopped coriander leaves
1/8  Lemon (wedge)

Cooking Method

Step 1) Into a sauce pan boil water and add corn kernels and boil for 2 min. Strain and let it sit for 5 min. 

Step 2) Then add rice flour, corn flour, little salt and pepper. Add more corn flour if required. Then deep fry it in oil.

Step 3) Then add masalas- Chili powder, chat masala,cumin powder,salt and pepper. Finally squeeze in some lemon juice . Give it a good shake.

Step 4) Finally garnish with chopped coriander leaves, chopped Onion and a lemon wedge on top.

    Kuddos to you for doing an awesome job. I have tried many recipies and they have turned out great.

    Not sure what part i missed, but when i tried to fry the corn it started to pop out and oil started splattering everywhere, Can you please point me what mistake i would have made in this.
