|Quantity||Ingredients for Mushroom Soup Recipe|
|1 /4 cup||Corn Kernels|
|1/2 tsp||Chili powder|
|1/4 tsp||Pepper Powder|
|For Creamy Base|
|2 tbsp||Maida / All purpose flour|
|2 cup||Milk (500 ml)|
|Salt and pepper|
Step 1) Wash the mushrooms well to get rid of any dirt/sand. Then pat it dry with a tissue or a cloth and slice them little thick.
Step 2) In a pan melt butter and add minced garlic and saute it for few seconds. Then add onion and saute it for a minute.
Step 3) Add the sliced Mushrooms and cook for few minutes.Once the mushrooms turns soft add in the peas (if you are using dry peas soak it for 8 hours ,cook and then add), also add in corn, chili powder, pepper and required salt. Let it cook for 4-5 minutes.
Step 4) Once the veggies are well cooked transfer it to a plate and set it aside.
Step 5) Now in the same pan melt butter and add flour / maida. Cook on a low heat for a minute until the raw smell is gone. Then add milk and cook until the milk thickens slightly.
Step 6) Once the milk is thickened add the saute'd veggies and let it boil. Finally add required salt, pepper and mix well.
