Chicken roast recipe

Fried chicken roast is a delicious and aromatic recipe which is very popular all over the world.




Serves          : 4 
Prep Time   : 10 min
Cook Time  : 25 min

Quantity Ingredients for Chicken roast recipe

For frying Chicken
1/2 kg  Chicken
1 Egg
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Chilli powder
1 tbsprice flour
1 tbsp Corn flower
required  Salt
1/8 tsp pepper

For Chicken roast
4 tbspOil
1,2,2 Cinnamon, cloves,cardamom
2,2 Green chilies, dry red chilies
1 spring Curry leaves
1 tbspGinger garlic paste
2 Onion
2 Tomatoes
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tspCumin powder
1 tsp Garam masala
2 tsp Chili powder

Salt to taste
handful Coriander leaves

Cooking Method


Step 1) Into a mixing bowl add chicken, egg, turmeric powder, chili powder, rice flour, corn flour, salt and pepper. Give it a mix and marinate for 30 minutes. 

Step 2) Heat oil and shallow fry the marinated chicken and keep it aside. 

Step 3) Heat oil in a pan and temper with whole spices, green chilies, red chilies, curry leaves,ginger garlic paste. Then add finely chopped onions and saute until golden brown.

Step 4) Now add the masalas- turmeric powder,chili powder, garam amsala,cumin powder, required salt and cook until the raw smell is gone. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until mushy.  Now add the fried chicken from step 2 and mix well. Add a cup of water and cook for another 10 minutes. Finally add coriander leaves for garnishing and turn off the heat.
