When it comes to breakfast , bread and Jam plays a major role in most of the houses. I am huge fan of homemade Jam because it is free of preservatives and colors. This simple homemade pineapple jam is easy to make , all we need is pineapple, sugar and few drops of lemon juice.

1 | Pineapple (2 cup puree - 250 ml) |
1.5-2 cup | Sugar (300 - 400 gram) |
1/2 | Lemon |
Cooking Method |
Step 1) Puree fully ripe pineapple in a blender and measure it. I got 2 cups (we can use the exact measure of sugar or can be adjusted to suit your preference)
Step 2) Heat the pineapple puree in a pan and cook for few minutes. Once slightly thickened add sugar. I have used 1.5 cup sugar for 2 cup puree. If you want it to be sweeter then use 2 cup sugar.
Step 4) Once thickened check the consistency .
That's it our delicious homemade pineapple jam is ready without any preservatives or added color. We can follow the steps and procedure for making apple jam, strawberry jam, mango jam etc...
