Spicy Potato Fry

Ingredients:

3 Potatoes
1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
1 tsp urad Dal (black gram without skin)
1 tsp Fennel Seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp chilli power
Curry leaves
3 tbsp oil
Salt to taste

Step by Step Method:

Step 1:
I have taken 3 potatoes and peeled the skin and cut them into medium sized pieces
And then I have covered the raw potatoes with water to stop them from turning brown.



Step 2:
Heat 3 tbsp. of oil in a pan ,add ¼ tsp mustard seeds once you hear the popping sound add 1 tsp of urad dal (split black gram) and also add 1 tsp of fennel seeds and then add some curry leaves and turmeric powder


Step 3:
Add the cubed potatoes (drain the water completely) mix well ,also add required salt and 2 tsp chilli powder and roast it until the potatoes are fully cooked



Now our potatoes are nicely roasted. Since we have cut them into medium sized pieces they didn’t take much time to cook 

Note:
You can also boil the potatoes and then add to reduce the cooking time, but this way of making keeps the potatoes crispier J
