Akki Roti Recipe

Akki roti is a healthy and easy breakfast recipe made with few ingredients. This recipe is simple to make and tastes delicious when served with coconut chutney. Lets see how to make akki roti.

Serving Size              :  4 people (8 pieces)

Preparation  Time    : 15 mins

Cooking Time           : 20 mins

Difficulty:

Quantity Ingredients for Akki Roti Recipe
2 cup Rice flour (300 g approx)
1 Onion
Carrot
1/4 cupCoconut
1/4 cup Coriander leaves
1 tsp Cumin seeds
2 Green Chilies
1 tspGinger

required Water
Salt to taste

Cooking Method


Step 1) Into a mixing bow all rice flour, chopped onion, grated carrot, Coriander leaves, grated coconut, cumin seeds, green chilies, ginger, salt and mix well.

Step 2) Gradually add water and make a soft dough. Divide the dough into 8 balls.

Step 3) Grease oil on a plastic sheet and spread the dough with fingers, do not make it too thin.

Step 4) Heat a tawa and grease with oil, Place the akki roti and cook until both the sides are well done.

Serve with chutney. That's it our delicious and simple akki roti is ready to be enjoyed. Happy Cooking !!!
