Vegetable Sandwich Recipe

Today's special is a highly enjoyed kids lunch box recipe veg sandwich, not only kids its loved by all ages of people. This recipe is made of few ingredients in few minutes, added vegetables makes this dish healthy and good. Lets start the preparation, lets see how to make Vegetable Masala Sandwich.

Quantity Ingredients for Vegetable Sandwich
6 slice Bread ( white or brown)
1 tbsp Oil
1 Onion
Copped Green Chilies
1 tsp Chili powder
1 Carrot
1/2 Cup Green Peas
1 largePotato (boiled and mashed)
3 slicesCheese
1/4 tsp Pepper powder

Chopped Coriander leaves

Salt to Taste

Cooking Method


Step 1) Heat oil in a pan and saute onions, after a minute add the vegetables ( carrot , peas , you can add your favorite choices). Then add chopped green chili , chili powder and cook well. (sprinkle some water if required).


Step 2) Once the veggies are cooked add boiled potato and mix well. Then with a help of a masher or with the back side of a tumbler mash everything nicely.


Step 3) Finally add some pepper powder and coriander leaves, combine well.


Step 4) Spread the masala filling and place a cheese on the top (cheese is optional) Then cover it with a slice of bread.

Step 5) Heat a iron pan and grease it with some butter, place the sandwich and cook until golden, place a weight on the top and apply some pressure.


Once golden on one side flip it to the other side and toast until golden.
