Fruit Custard is an easy and quick Indian dessert recipe made with custard base and fresh fruits. This recipe is enjoyed by all groups of ages, added fruits makes every bite interesting and enjoyable. We can add any fruits of our choice ,whoever hates fruits will start loving this recipe.
Since pomegranate is not in season I have skipped , adding pomegranate makes the recipe look attractive and appetizing. Lets see how to make this yummy delicious fruit custard recipe. Lets get started.

Serving Size                 : 4 people

Preparation Time        : 5 min

Cooking Time              : 20 minutes
Difficulty:
Quantity Ingredients for Fruit Custard Recipe
500 ml Milk
2 tbspCustard powder
2-3 tbspMilk (for dissolving custard powder)
6 tbspSugar
2 cup Fruits (Grapes, Banana, Apple, Mango)

Cooking Method

Step 1) Heat milk in a pan, once the milk comes to slight boil turn down the heat to low and add custard powder. Do not add the custard powder directly to the hot milk (it forms lumps)
so dissolve the custard powder in some milk and then add to the hot milk.

Step 2) Gradually add the custard powder mix to the milk and mix it nicely without any lumps. Then add sugar, you can adjust the sweetness according to your taste preference. I have added 6 tbsp of sugar. Mix it nicely and let the milk simmer for some time.

Step 3) Once the custard mix thickens slightly , turn off the heat and transfer the contents to a bowl and let it cool completely. You can also chill it in the refrigerator for an hour.

Step 4) Once the base is cooled completely add the fruits and mix well. I have added Grapes, Banana, Apple and mangoes.

That's it our Fruit custard is ready to be served, We can add pomegranate , Chikoo/ sapotta , Orange, Kiwi etc...
Serve it immediately or refrigerate and serve when required. Please do try this recipe at home and share with your friends and family.
